Proposals

Contributions to any of the themes within the spectrum of  ICTM2019 are welcome.

The four categories for proposals are (1) abstracts, (2) individual papers, (3) posters and (4) e-posters.

Three kinds of publications are planned, firstly: a monograph, in which papers with up to 20,000 characters in English be will be included. The monographs will be submitted for inclusion in the Citation Index by Thomson Reuters. All papers should also be accompanied by a summary in English. Those English language papers which are top rated by reviewers and submitted to the ICTM 2019 conference will be published in a special issue of an international journal: Information Systems Management, Economy Market Education and the Polish Journal of Applied Psychology.

 

1)Individual abstracts: Individual abstracts can be a basis of formal presentations on original research by one or more authors, lasting a total of 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion). Please note that the time limit will be strictly adhered to. The length of abstracts for individual papers is a minimum of 150-350 words, max 8-10 pages (texts with 20,000 characters with spaces will be treated as papers). Abstracts should have TPMRLIOK structure (Title, State of the Art and Purpose, Design/Methodology, Results, Limitations, Research/Practical Implications, Originality/Value, Keywords up to 6-10). Abstracts should be written in the following format: template and submitted via Registration as well as sent as a .doc file to ictm.wroclaw@gmail.com All accepted abstracts and papers will be published in ICTM 2019 Proceedings with an ISBN number. 

 

2)Individual papers: Individual papers are formal presentations on original research by one or more authors, lasting a total of 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion). Please note that the time limit will be strictly adhered to. The papers should have the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Research [and] Discussion) structure which is a standard for research papers. The length of papers is max 8-10 pages (texts with 20,000 characters with spaces will be treated as papers). Papers should be written in the following format: template and submitted via Registration as well as sent as a .doc file to ictm.wroclaw@gmail.com. All accepted abstracts and papers will be published in ICTM 2019 Proceedings with an ISBN number.

 

3)Posters: Poster sessions are for displaying research and they offer the opportunity for individualized informal discussions. A poster is a good format for presenting work-in-progress, fieldwork and the results of empirical research in which data can be presented visually (e.g. charts, graphs, tables). A block of time will be designated when presenters are available to discuss their posters. In addition, the posters will be available online in a virtual poster exhibition for viewing and commenting throughout the conference (for conference participants only). The length of abstracts for posters is max 8-10 pages (20,000 characters with spaces). Detailed instructions regarding the appropriate format for the on-line exhibition will be sent to presenters once they have received notification  that their proposals have been accepted. Abstracts should be written in the following format: template and submitted via Registration as well as sent to ictm.wroclaw@gmail.com.  All accepted papers will be published in ICTM 2019 Proceedings with an ISBN number.

 

4)e-Posters: Participation in the virtual poster exhibition of the ICTM2019 website will be available for those who are unable to attend the conference and would be interested in presenting work-in-progress, fieldwork and the results of empirical research in which data can be presented visually (e.g. charts, graphs, tables). The length of abstracts for e-posters is max 500 words. These virtual posters will be on-line together with their abstracts and a 5-minute presentation video. Detailed instructions regarding the appropriate format for on-line exhibition will be sent to presenters once they have received notification that their proposals have been accepted. This form is only addressed to students and Ph.D. students.

 

 

Submission of Proposals

Submission of proposals for papers, posters, and e-posters should be completed via the Registration System

 

Submission of abstracts opens June 2019 and closes 15th Septemebr 2019

 

 

Evaluation of Proposals

Proposals for individual papers, posters, and colloquia will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and the Organizing Committee in terms of:

i) topic relevance;

ii) mention of topic precedents and literature review;

iii) statement of objectives;

iv) description of methodology; and

v) results, conclusions and contributions to the field.

 

 Conference Presentation Policies

·         It is assumed that all proposals represent original and unpublished work that is not yet available to the research community.

·         Paper and poster presenters need to be registered by attending participants at ICTM 2018.

·         The language of the conference is English and Polish.

·         The conference policy is that the author will present the paper on the day and time assigned by the conference program committee.
